We want to find "forever homes" for the cats at Sakai City Animal Guidance Center
We, Waji Co., Ltd., are headquartered in Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture.
The workshop is located in Hannancho, Osaka, and the store is located in Kiyosumi Shirakawa , Tokyo.
Our representative, Kanno, is a Sakai resident and has a relationship with Sakai City. From his perspective as someone who makes a living by supporting rescued cats through manufacturing, he had the opportunity to see Sakai City's efforts for cats and dogs.
The place we visited, "Sakai City Animal Guidance Center", is home to cats and dogs that have been rescued for various reasons.
These animals are cared for by a top-notch team of professionals with veterinary licenses.
It is truly an ideal environment when it comes to managing the cats' health and the environment.
However, when it comes to communicating about the adoption and the "appealing aspects," I thought, perhaps presumptuously, that it would be more effective for us, a private company with a certain number of fans and who use social media on a daily basis, to do so.
My personal opinion is that the government is subject to various restrictions on working styles and tools, and is unable to act as it wishes.
So, with the goal of adopting the cats here, we decided to use some of the donations to cover the costs of the items and activities related to that.
What is the Sakai City Animal Guidance Center?
The Animal Guidance Center, run by Sakai City in Osaka Prefecture, has a history of about 50 years and is based on the philosophy of animal welfare. The center aims to create a society where people and animals can coexist, with the spirit of animal welfare and the promotion of proper animal care as its pillars.
Beyond the gate is a large animal memorial.
I heard that many people pray in front of the facility as they pass by.
In the past, their main job was to capture stray dogs, but now their main job seems to have shifted to teaching people how to care for pets.
