Forever Home Products
We, Waji Co., Ltd., are headquartered in Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture.
Our workshop is in Hannan-cho, Osaka City, and our store is in Kiyosumi-Shirakawa, Tokyo.
Our representative, Kanno, is also a resident of Sakai City and has a relationship with Sakai City. As a company that supports stray cats through manufacturing, we had the opportunity to observe Sakai City's initiatives for cats and dogs.
At the "Sakai City Animal Guidance Center" we visited, cats and dogs rescued for various reasons live there.
The animals are cared for by a strong team of professionals with veterinary licenses.
The environment for cat health management and overall conditions is truly excellent.
However, I presumptuously thought that for outreach and "attractive presentation" geared towards adoption, it would be more effective for us, a private company with a certain number of fans and daily use of social media, to handle it.
My personal impression is that administrative bodies face various restrictions in terms of work methods and tools, making it difficult for them to act as freely as they might wish.
Thus, it all began with our decision to use a portion of the donated funds to cover the costs of goods and services related to achieving our goal: the adoption (rehoming) of the cats here.
What is the Sakai City Animal Guidance Center?
The "Animal Guidance Center" in Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture, is an administrative facility with a history of approximately 50 years, founded on the principle of animal welfare. It aims to create a society where people and animals can coexist, with animal welfare and the promotion of proper pet ownership as its core pillars.
Beyond its gates stands a large animal memorial monument.
I've heard that many people passing by the facility pause to offer their respects.
In the past, catching stray dogs was the primary duty, but now, pet ownership guidance seems to have become the main focus.
And beyond that,

We intend to continuously support stray cats, which means we operate with a business mindset.
