[NPO Animal Welfare Organization LYSTA] Activity Report

Posted by 菅野裕樹 on

We have received details about the activities of LYSTA, a facility supported by aoneco!
We will also introduce the facilities.

[NPO Animal Protection Organization LYSTA]

This NPO animal welfare organization is based in Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture, and was established on September 11, 2011, six months after the Great East Japan Earthquake.
CEO Suzuki-san quit his job and founded LYSTA with the sole desire to help animals left behind in the former restricted area (now a difficult-to-return area). The company then obtained NPO status on March 23, 2017 and took on its current form.
On March 11, 2023, we will launch a foster parent recruitment initiative called "O hana." They have opened a rescue cat salon where you can play with the cats and they also look for foster parents, so if you are hoping to adopt a rescue cat, why not come and visit?

Report on rescue cat support activities

"Anko-kun in the picture was rescued from within the 311 restricted area and is a positive carrier of feline leukemia.
Currently, there is only one feline leukemia carrier, and it would be a shame to leave him confined alone in the shelter, so he is staying in the room with the sink, which is where people use the most.
When his favorite volunteer comes, he meows and purrs with delight."

LYSTA is involved in a variety of activities, so please continue to keep an eye on her efforts and we look forward to your support!

Thank you for reading to the end.
