We are "Cat Cafe Michamicho," a rescue cat cafe in Showacho, Abeno-ku, Osaka.
Our motto is "help cats in need." In 2020, we achieved the following:
- Total cats adopted: 88
- Total cats taken in: 95
Although we are a small, individual shop, we will continue to work hard for cats in need.
How a 22,000 yen donation could be used:
This would cover spay/neuter surgery for 3 male cats or 2 female cats.
How a 220,000 yen donation could be used:
- Average monthly treatment costs in 2020, including vaccines, virus tests, and spay/neuter surgery: Approximately 180,000 yen
- Average monthly cost for food, litter, and other care in 2020: Approximately 85,000 yen
If donations are collected, they will be used for the above expenses.
During the state of emergency for COVID-19, with shortened business hours and stay-at-home requests, our shop was not eligible for any subsidies or support funds, so we persevered and got through it on our own.
The spring kitten season is coming. We want to use these funds for the financial strength needed for treatment costs that are likely to arise.
