Mii-cha & Mii-cho

While the main use is for food for approximately 60 cats, we also allocate funds to medical expenses for cats needing treatment, hospitalization, or mental care. There are many cats in need of protection, so this support is truly helpful.

We primarily use it for the medical expenses of rescued cats, which amount to about 500,000 yen per month. Also, scratching posts wear out quickly, so we bought new ones in bulk. Your regular donations are a tremendous help.

We use some of it for cat consumables. The funds saved allowed us to replace an old, damaged cat tower with a new one, which all the cat staff are delighted about.

We are currently building a custom cat tower from cypress wood to prevent it from being destroyed by scratching, unlike commercially available cat towers. Since commercial products tend to get damaged in about half a year, we aim to create a durable cat tower.
