What is Kyototo?
Departing from Kyoto, Japan, via Tokyo to the world.
"Kyototo" is a brand name that combines "Kyoto" - the tradition of Japan - and "Tokyo" - the present of Japan. This embroidery brand is "From Kyoto, via Tokyo, to the world," and is a Kyoto embroidery studio that explores new ways of passing on culture and the possibilities of embroidery.
The store is filled with simply stunning embroidered pieces, as well as wonderful products with a twist that feature motifs of Japanese traditions and customs, such as sushi, cats, and sumo.
You'll definitely want to spend a long time in the store, as it's enjoyable even just to look around.

Cat goods for sale at Kyototo
As embroidery is the main focus, there is a wide range of items on offer, from small patches to cushions and art pieces, so there is plenty to see.
There are also plenty of cat-themed items.
Tabi socks come with ears and a wide variety of cat patterns, so you might be able to match them with your beloved cat.
This embroidered patch can be attached with an iron or as a sticker. It uses phosphorescent thread so the cat glows in the dark!
The cool cat playing the guitar is embroidered on T-shirts and other clothing, so the texture of the cat's fur is recreated, and you can see that the attention to detail goes beyond just cuteness.
They also have tea and other items, which would make a great souvenir.
