Here is a report on the activities of aoneco's supporter, the NPO animal welfare organization "LYSTA," from August to September!
From Mr. Suzuki, representative of Fukushima Prefecture's NPO "LYSTA":
We have received reports on the cats from August to September 2024.
The August mass sterilization operation 94 specimens were tested.
TNR is over! I hope everyone is doing well!
At the same time as the surgery, we administered a vaccine with a high antibody titer, a flea and tick control medication that is effective for three months, and other treatments that were possible.
Cats can also get heatstroke, so we gave all of them subcutaneous fluids to help them out.
The granuloma has completely cleared up!
In addition, our organization took in Tangokun, a brown tabby cat who required continuous treatment for severe jaundice and eosinophilic granuloma, because it was difficult for the caretaker to protect him and continue his treatment.
After two weeks of oral treatment, the granulomas had completely cleared up.
In August and September, we performed sterilization surgery on 176 cats!
